Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.

Day 05: Drive to Thimphu 2,320m / 7,656ft (54 k.m.) - 02 hrs journeys.
Day 06: Tour of Thimphu around places of interest.
Day 07: Drive to Punakha 1,350 m (2 ½ hr)
Day 08: Drive back to Paro on-route visit Simtokh Dzong.
Day 09: Morning drive to Paro airport for flight back to Kathmandu.
Day 10: International departure for homeward bound.


Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu via respective airlines.
On reaching Kathmandu international airport, where you will be received by Awesome Nepal Treks representative, staffs, and then transfer to your respective hotels in the heart of Kathmandu city, after refreshment join with other member of Bhutan Cultural Tour for group briefing regarding your stay in Nepal and Bhutan. Evening includes welcome dinner in a nice and pleasant Nepalese restaurant with folk and cultural programs.
Day 02: In Kathmandu with sightseeing tour at places of interest.
Morning after breakfast our tour guide will take you on interesting sightseeing tour around Kathmandu, the city a mixture of modern with lively ancient culture where you can marvel medieval period villages, retaining old traditions and custom steeped with ancient history, full of world heritage sites of Buddhism, Hinduism with temples and monasteries.
Day 03: Fly to Paro 2,280 / 7,524 ft via Druk Air and transfer to hotel.
Cultural Tour of Bhutan, beings with a super panoramic flight of an hour to Paro at Bhutan, on reaching Paro airport with immigration and visa formalities received by our Bhutan counterpart agents guide for the drive to hotel in Paro, with afternoon free for leisure walks around streets and market of Paro.
Day 04: In Paro with sightseeing tour.
Tour begins after breakfast where our guide will take you for an hour climb to Bhutan’s famous old Taksang Monastery “The Tiger's Nest”. Actually a place for meditation and retreats of monks and priests, located in a overhanging rock cliff with views of Paro and mountains, from here short drive to 17th centaury Ta-Dzong, later converted into the National Museum in 1967 with afternoon free for stroll around Paro market.

Day 05: Drive to Thimphu 2,320m / 7,656ft (54 k.m.) - 02 hrs journey.
After breakfast a scenic short drive to Thimphu Bhutan capital, an interesting ride of two hours through lovely countryside dotted with farm villages of typical Buddhist culture villages.

On reaching Thimphu transfer to respective hotels, a modern city of Bhutan the one and only city in this world without traffic lights, all the traffic controlled by traffic police with a whistle.

Day 06: Tour of Thimphu around places of interest.
After breakfast our native guide will take you on a tour around Thimphu’s memorial stupas, indigenous hospital, where traditional medicine is still practiced and traditional painting school. Visit Changangkha Lhakhang, the oldest temple in the valley offering a nice view of the valley. Drive to visit largest and newly built statue of Buddha offering magnificent view of entire Thimphu valley.

Afternoon visit traditional Hand Made Paper Mill, School of Arts and Crafts where students learn 13 different arts used predominantly in Bhutan, Folk Heritage Museum, National Library and the Traditional Institute of Medicine. Drive to the Zilukha nunnery to meet the nuns and interact with them.
Day 07: Drive to Punakha 1,350 m (2 ½ hr)
Lunch in the town and drive to Punakha through Dochula pass (3,200 m) If the weather permits one can enjoy a spectacular view of the highest mountains of Bhutan at a site that stretches almost 180 degrees. Walk around the 108 stupas and continue to sub tropical valley of Punakha. On arrival, if time permits hike to the temple of Chimi Lakhang, the temple of fertility associated with religious art of phallus.
Day 08: Drive back to Paro - 05 hrs with tour of Simtokh Dzong on route.
Morning drive back to Paro via Thimphu visit Punakha Dzong (fortress) which houses most elaborated temple in the country. This is a fine example of Bhutanese rich Art and Architecture.
Retrace the drive back to Paro for overnight stop with time permitting visit 1927-29 AD fort, built by King Shabdung Ngawang Namgyal, who unified the Kingdom of Bhutan, after a nice good drive back at Paro.

Day 09: Morning drive to Paro airport for respective destinations.
Depending upon flight time to Kathmandu or connecting with other Indian cities, our guide transfer you to Paro international airport for the flight back to Kathmandu, or flight to Delhi and respective destinations. For those flying back to Nepal on reaching Kathmandu airport our staff transfer you back to hotel with free afternoon for individual activities.

Day 10: International departure for home ward bound.
Your last day in amazing Nepal, a country full of Himalayan wonders and as per international flight time leave the hotel, where our staff transfer you to airport for your flight back home or to respective countries, after an enjoyable and memorable trip on Bhutan Cultural Tour.
