Short Everest Base Camp Trek - 11 Days also known as Rapid Everest Base Camp Trekking is an adventure for the veteran adventurer and sporty types of people where you can walk for ten to eleven days of wonderful trekking. This trek takes you to Everest base camp and back to Lukla at the minimum number of days. Short Everest Base Camp Trekking, joining in this awesome adventure one needs to be very fit physically and in sound health, as this trek we have planned with short time frame so that you can cover all the scenic and exciting places around beautiful Khumbu valley and Everest region never missing the charm of high Himalayan mountains with local colourful Sherpa culture.
This fast and super walks on Short Everest Base Camp Trek - 11 days starts from Lukla town after taking a scenic flight from Kathmandu and the walk leads on the gradual trail for some days, as the trek progress entering lovely Sherpa villages at famous Namche Bazaar where interesting, busy Saturday market takes place.
From Namche onward with the touch of high altitude where the going can be slow as you acclimatize during overnight stops and on walks and then finally reaching our goal and aim of the adventure at Everest base camp with super views of Khumbu Ice Falls and glaciers. Our return trek speeds on going downhill with a climb of Kalapathar the highest point of the adventure at 5,545 m high with sweeping views of high mountains with Everest at near distance, walk leads to long descend to Lukla where you catch the early flight back to Kathmandu, after a super adventure on Short Everest Base Camp Trek - 11 Days.
Day 01: Fly to Lukla 2,830m and walk to Phakding 2,640 m - 04 hrs

Day 01: Fly to Lukla 2,830 m and walk to Phakding 2,640 m - 04 hrs.
Mornings, flight to Lukla with views of mountain range including Mt. Everest, after 30 mins of great flight reaching at Lukla with its unique airstrip a gateway Sherpa town to Everest base camp and other adventure destination.
At Lukla prepare for first day pleasant walk towards Phakding after a leisure stop, an easy and moderate walk where the path lead past Sherpa farm villages with nice and scenic walk of short ups and down with wonderful views along the walk entering into patch of green alpine woodland following Dudh Kosi a glacial River upstream and crossing several suspension bridges to reach at Phakding for overnight stop after a pleasant walk of 3-4 hours.Rest of the afternoon free at ease to enjoy this Sherpa town and to get acclimatize and witness the exciting life of the Sherpa people in the comfort of nice and cozy lodge.
Day 02:Trek to Namche Bazaar 3,440 m - 07 hrs.
After breakfast , we commence our trek to Namche Bazaar (3440 m.). The trail goes along the right bank of Dudh Koshi. Thamserku is standing majestically skyward on the opposite bank. We then reach Bengar. The trail now climbs from the riverbed on the left bank into the mountain, through a forest to Chumoa. We continue along the trail with many ups and downs; cross a stream, and pass by the tiny village Monjo. We then come to Sagarmatha National Park Service where a park entrance fee is to be deposited. We follow a short walk along the riverbed of this valley where the major river meets each other. Crossing over the Hillary bridge, trek begin steep ascent to Namche Bazar. On the way, we would have excellent views of Everest (8848m) and Lhotse (8516m.). Surrounded on three sides by mountain ranges, Namche Bazar (3440m) is a central hub of the area for food, trekking gears and other necessary goods.
A perfect place for rest day for proper acclimatization before heading higher area, morning a short hike to Everest View Hotel or walk up on top a hill of Namche for views of Everest, Amadablam and adjoining peaks, visit the museum with wide information of the Khumbu areas.
Day 03: Acclimatization and exploration in Namche Bazaar.
Namche Bazaar is at 3,440m,this level is above mountain sickness threshold. Today will be spent resting and allowing our bodies to become acclimatized to the lofty altitude.Go high and sleep low is the best way to acclimatize,best acclimatization hike for the day we recommend is to Everest view hotel,a perfect place for proper speed acclimatization before heading higher area, morning hike to Everest View Hotel which is about 2 hrs uphill walk, great spot for magnificent view of Mt Everest,Lhotse ,Amadablam and adjoining peaks of the Khumbu Himalayan panorama.
Check out the Sherpa museum for an overview of the Sherpa culture and history of mountaineering. On Saturdays, the Hatt Bazaar is open for trading and an intimate look at the locals’ marketplace. It is part of the larger Namche Bazaar, a shopping hub filled with all manner of trekking and mountaineering clothing and equipment.
Day 04:Trek to Thyangboche 3,867 m - 07 hrs.
From Namche on gradual scenic path with downhill to Imjatse river at Phunge-Tenga for lunch, and then uphill through rhododendron, pines, firs tree forest with views of snowcapped peaks.On reaching Thyangboche visit famous Buddhist monastery with magnificent panorama of Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Kangtenga, Thamasarku, Kwande and majestic Amadablam.
Afternoon with time for tour of the monastery, which was burnt by accidental fire in 1991 at present back into normal form, where you witness young monks and elderly priest and Lama on evening prayer.
Day 05: Trek to Dingboche 4,260 m - 07 hrs.
Morning downhill walk for few hours over Imjatse River, after the bridge walk on an open country where tree lines fades for few short juniper and dwarf rhododendron bushes, uphill for a while to reach at Pangboche village at 3,900 meters. Last permanent village before Dingboche and beyond, from here a slow climb to Somara for lunch and continue walk with climb to Dingboche village for overnight stop, located in Imjatse valley with panorama of mountains.
Day 06: Trek to Lobuche 4,930 m - 06 hrs.
After a pleasant overnight stop at Dingboche morning walks with steep climb for an hour commanding excellent views, and then on gentle trail to Thugla for lunch where Khumbu glacier melts into a raging river, here trail from Pheriche joins after a break a steep climb for an hour to Thugla pass, with stone memorials of unfortunate climbers who died climbing Mt. Everest, Lhotse and other high mountains. From here a nice pleasant walk brings to Lobuche for overnight stop.
Day 07: Trek to Everest Base Camp 5364 m and return to Gorakshep 5,180 m - 08 hrs.
Today our Rapid Everest Base Camp trekking leads to our final destination as the walk proceeds with short steep climb in between over glacier and moraine, reaching Gorakshep, beneath Mt. Pumori and Kalapathar.Walk continues towards Everest Base Camp, at base camp enjoy the view of notorious Khumbu Ice Fall and glaciers, after a grand time with experience of a lifetime adventure at base camp retrace the journey back to Gorakshep for overnight halt.
Day 11: Hike to Kalapathar 5,550 m trek to Pheriche 4,240m - 08 hrs.
Early morning hike on top Kalapathar at 5,545 meters, highest point of this adventure with marvelous views of mountains including Mt. Everest at mere distance, after a great scenic moment descend to Gorakshep for breakfast and retrace our journey to Labuche then downhill to Thukla and continue around windy valley with nice scenic walk to reach at Pheriche for overnight stop. Pheriche with 10-15 nice lodges with a health post of HRA (Himalayan Rescue Association)
Day 09: Trek to Namche Bazaar - 08 hrs.
Return journey is much easier losing heights every hour, walking downhill with few short ups to the bridge with an hour climb to Thyangboche Monastery back into green woodland with super views of mountains that surrounds this beautiful spot.From here descend to Imjatse River, with steep climb for an hour to Sanasa, from here on gradual path with short ups and downs to Namche Bazaar for overnight stop.
Day 10: Trek to Lukla - 07 hrs.
Morning walk on downhill path to reach at Dudh Kosi River gorge as the walk leads with short climb to Monjo after Sagarmatha National Park and then reaching at Phakding. From here retrace the journey back to Lukla with last uphill to Lukla where you can celebrate last night dinner with fellow trekkers and staff.
Day 14: Fly back to Kathmandu and transfer to respective hotels.
From Lukla an early morning flight back to Kathmandu with views of mountains, at Kathmandu domestic airport our staff transfers you back to respective hotels with rest of the day free at leisure.

Experience & Fitness Required:
Trek to Everest Base Camp is not difficult or technical, where no previous trekking and outdoor experience required if you are a sports person or have done outdoor activities and physical fitness training it will be a great advantage and plus point.
On this trek to Everest Base Camp, one should be aware that you are walking into the world’s highest areas of Everest where maximum elevation rises above 5,364 meters at base camp.
With optional climb to high and scenic Kalapathar which is at 5,545 m offers you with a spectacular panorama of peaks with Everest at close distance, most of the walks within Everest and other parts of Himalaya involves lots of ups and downs. Some days can be tiring and exhausting, but rewards you with scenic views with a glimpse of local colorful culture with refreshing stops in between and walking into nice lovely villages.
Around Everest mid hills where you will be walking through farmlands, well-tended terraces, where route follows on the bank of a river crossing suspension bridges with duration of minimum 4 hours, and the maximum of 6 hours walks on this wonderful Everest Base Camp Treks.

Nepal Visa is easy to obtain; you may obtain from the Nepalese Embassy or Consulate or Mission offices in your home country if it’s not possible abroad one
can obtain on arrival at Kathmandu international airport as per your convenient. Where you need to have 2 passport size photographs, Visa fees in US cash & valid passport at least for 6 months validity from the starting of the trip.
SAARC countries and China do not need a visa when visiting Nepal, as per the rule and regulation and Indian nationals do not require the visa.
Transit visa is provided for foreign nationality for 3 days. Visa must be obtained for staying over an initial period of three days. Currently, foreign national can obtain a Nepalese visa from the following border.

Treks in Nepal and at Everest base camp takes you to the remote Himalayan region, it is very essential that you are accompanied with experienced and qualified guides or group leader for the safe and successful trip.
Awesome Nepal provides native trekking guide and staff who are trained and qualified for these type of trips. Our guides are fully trained and licensed from Nepal Government Tourism Department, certified by TAAN & Nepal Mountaineering Association.
All our Trekking and Climbing Guides are professional with decades of experience in this fields of adventure. They are trained specially for specified and various trips, to cater the flexible requirement of our clients from different nationalities, this will assure you that your trip will be enjoyable and in safe hands of professional experts.
On every trip, will be one Trek leader and an assistance leader on each additional 2 peoples in the group on treks, this arrangement would ensure that even if any of our guide/ assistance guides gets sick or clients may get sick and need to be evacuated or staying behind from the walks, it wills still works smoothly and there would non-impact with our original trek plan.
Every two trekkers will have one Sherpa helper for carrying your trekking bags.
Meals and Accommodations:
While in Kathmandu, your accommodation is at the 2-star deluxe hotel or similar (if one has to upgrade please inform us) with all modern amenities to ensure your comfortable stay and while on the trek, your accommodation is at best local Lodge and Guest Houses where available. The Mountain local Lodges are clean and have comfortable beds. Our entire accommodation is on twin sharing basis unless required for single supplement accommodation at extra trip cost.
While in Kathmandu and at Pokhara or some any city in Nepal, based on bed and breakfast, while on the trek it will be on full board includes all 3 times meals (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner, with Tea- Coffee). We provide meals from the local Lodge on route trekking. Breakfast and dinner will be provided from the same tea- house/ guest house on overnights stops, where lunch will be on-route day walks.
Foods provided in the local lodges depends entirely on availability and season, you can have Nepalese meals (Dal Bhat), Tibetan fried bread, various types of soups, Momo’s (steamed dumplings), potatoes, plates of pasta and even pizza! So, overall you have a different choice of foods on the trek.
Two best seasons for the trek to Everest Base Camp. As this trip is an adventurous walk, we suggest you join in at the right time of the year as far as possible.
Spring: - (March, April, and May) – Warm days with Rhododendron in flowering times includes clear views of mountains, pleasant Temperature, warmest weather of the year.
Autumn:- (Mid-September, October and November) - Excellent trails, clear blue skies, best visibility. Best Time to Trek
Winter Months: - (December, January, and February) also good, but it’s obviously colder. You have to be prepared for this. It is up to your plan for the trek in the cold months.
Summer: - Monsoon, so rain and visibility can be a big issue (from Mid-June, July to August). We do not suggest you this time for the trek.
There is no way to prepare for altitude other than to spend time at the right altitude. Being in good physical condition will help ameliorate some of the exhaustion that people often feel, but it will not prevent altitude problems such as Acute Mountain Sickness. This itinerary is designed with a high degree of awareness of AMS (Acute Mountain Sickness) in mind and to ensure a comfortable and safe adventure trek in the Himalayas with much acclimatization days to cope with pre-caution for altitude sickness. Staying well hydrated and getting plenty of rest may help.
The maximum elevation of the trek will at Everest Base Camp at 5,364m above sea level. We will be walking from the mid-range at Lukla with 2,820 m and altitude range gradually with enough days for rest in each high altitude with overnight stops.
Travel Insurance & Vaccination:
On this trip, you must obtain personal travel insurance to join with us in all our Himalayan trips. You must obtain travel insurance which covers helicopter rescue and immediate evacuation, trip cancellation and medical expenses.
We suggested that you buy your insurance policy from your home country before joining with us, where it is difficult buying local travel insurance policy for foreigners in Nepal.
Vaccination is required to plan for your trip to Nepal but it is not a must to have the thing to come, but highly suggested. Your doctor will have the information on vaccination you would require to the country you will be traveling.
Hepatitis A, Japanese Encephalitis, Polio, Rabies, Tetanus, Typhoid and Malaria etc. are the recommended vaccination for traveling to Nepal.
Our porter is fully equipped and insured on each trip with us. As you know that we are very sincere and polite, while on trek thus we make sure that our porter is fully prepared for the trip. We are closely working with the International Porter Progress Association for the welfare and benefit of trekking porters.
The maximum load carried by our porter minimum 20 to 25 KG maximum so be sure that your trekking bag is not more than the above figure.
