Season and Temperatures:
Annapurna Base Camp Trekking can trek all year round, where monsoon months of July to Mid September is not recommendable due to continues rains most of the day, March to May is fine with flowers in bloom where most of the day is clear with clouds in the afternoon time.
Much warmer around this season with temperatures hardly gets -05 degree Celsius depending upon altitude wise daytime is warmer with pleasant 15 to 20 degree Celsius.
October to February the coldest months in mountains and high hills with chances of snow sometimes, but most of the day is fine with clear views of the mountain range.
Routes to Annapurna base camp:
Starting from Kathmandu Pokhara either overland drive on 220 k.m. distance highway taking an average of 6 hrs or one can fly to Pokhara taking a short scenic flight of 30 minutes.
Whatever your mode of transportation, starting this wonderful adventure from Pokhara taking a short drive to begin the walk to Ghorepani-Chomrong to base camp and then heading back on the same route to Chomrong village, and then alternative ways to reach Pokhara wither by Jhinu village with hot natural spring to end at Bhirethati and then drive to Pokhara.
Extending walks taking route after Jhinu village towards Landruk and to Dhampus village to end with a short drive back to Pokhara.
For people with limited time can just walk to Annapurna sanctuary and at the base to and from the same route where you started and then ending within less than week duration.
