Annapurna base camp 13 days, a great combination where you will enjoy views and culture within high green hills in the shadow of the Annapurna Himalaya range. Our fabulous walk leads first to Ghorepani Poon Hill, and then into enchanting rhododendron-magnolia-pine woodland, in spring times the whole place turns into a natural garden with wildflowers in full blooms. This area listed as world’s largest natural garden, a great contrast with white snowcapped peaks, truly a paradise for photographers and naturalist.
Within beautiful natural garden a stunning viewpoint Poon Hill located where you can hike to the top above 3,210 m high for glorious and striking sunrise views over great Himalayan peaks. After a great moment on Poon Hill then head towards our next adventure and highlight to Annapurna base camp within the scenic sanctuary. The walk leads into serene forested areas past farm villages to reach at Chhomrong, one of the largest villages around Annapurna region and gateway to Annapurna base camp.
As walk progress following Modi River into a gorge heading up to its glacial source at Annapurna base camp and stunning Sanctuary enclosed by the amphitheater of peaks. Here enjoy the magnificent mountain views in the comfort of the nice and cozy lodge at base camp. Probably the only base camp in whole Himalaya region with facilities of lodge and inns. Annapurna base camp the highest spot of the adventure where you will be standing within the array of peaks that surrounds. After a wonderful time at Annapurna Base Camp return journey leads to picturesque Pokhara after enjoying hot spring at Jhinu, where downhill walks leads to low warmer areas at Pokhara to conclude this magnificent adventure.
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.
Day 02: Drive to Pokhara 820 m (220 k.m) - 08 hrs.
Day 03: Drive to Nayapul and trek to Tikhedhunga 1,440 m - 05 hrs.
Day 04: Trek to Ghorepani 2,860 m - 08 hrs.
Day 05: Hike Poonhill and trek to Tadapani 2,630 m - 07 hrs
Day 06: Trek to Chhomrong village at 2,170 m - 06 hrs.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.
Your first impression of arriving at Tribhuvan International Airport is an experience in itself. But don’t be worried by the apparent confusion as your airport representative will be waiting to welcome you with your name written on a placard. Depending on traffic, you will be at your hotel within 20 minutes or so.
You have time to relax and enjoy the ambiance and comfort of the hotel until your evening Group Meeting. This is when we collect your insurance details and discuss how the trip will run for the coming days. After the meeting, we go for our first group dinner. Your tour leader will take you to traditional Nepali restaurant in Thamel.

Day 02: Drive to Pokhara 820m, 08 hrs journey distance 220 k.m.
Morning travel on the tourist bus where exciting drive leads you on main Kathmandu and Pokhara highway, within Himalayan foothills then on reaching Pokhara transfer to respective hotels by the beautiful Phewa Lake with the afternoon free for short walks. (Options by Air 30 minutes scenic flight to Pokhara).
Day 03: Drive to Nayapul and trek to Tikhedhunga 1,440 m - 05 hrs.
Trek begins with a drive to Nayapul a 1:30 hrs drive along snake line road to reach at Nayapul, beginning the short 25-minute walk along the banks of Modi River reaching Birethanti (1,015 m) a large village located on the confluence of Bhurungdi Khola (stream) and Glacial Modi River.
The walk continues past farm villages with views of cascading waterfalls along the way, as trek leads to a slow climb to reach at Tikhedhunga 1,570 m. Today’s walk is fairly short and easy, a true experience around Annapurna region. Overnight at Tikhedhunga.
Day 04: Trek to Ghorepani 2,850m - 08 hrs.
The morning starts with a climb to a series of stone steps for few hours to Ulleri village, a moderate size Magar and Gurung village a typical Nepalese hill village adorned with slated roofs. From here walk leads to a slow climb into pristine and cool rhododendron, pine forest area to reach Ghorepani village, situated on a high ridge within beautiful rhododendron forest. Ghorepani village inhabited by Poon people of Magar tribe, a famous and popular place for the hike to Poonhill for sunrise views.
Day 05: Visit Poonhill and trek to Tadapani 2,640m - 07 hrs.
Early morning hike to Poonhill for stunning sunrise views over the range of mountains from world 7th highest Dhaulagiri-10th highest Annapurna with 8th highest Manaslu includes towering Machhapuchhre peak “Fish Tail”. After a marvelous time at Poonhill, return to Ghorepani for breakfast and continue trek with a climb into rhododendron forest for few hours to Deurali ridge and then on downhill to Bhanthati located in a gorge covered within cool forest, from here a short descend to a stream where the last climb of the day reaches you at Tadapani for overnight stop.
Day 06: Trek to Chhomrong village 2,170m - 06 hrs.
After a pleasant morning with views of Annapurna South, Huinchuli and Fish Tail peaks walk leads towards Annapurna base camp with overnight stop at Chomrong village, morning walk on downhill into serene forest to reach at Ghurjung village, from here a steep climb above Kimrong valley within farm terraced with climb to a stone paved path, where a short gradual walk leads you to Chhomrong village for overnight stop. Chhomrong a large Gurung village before Annapurna base camp where other places on the route are the temporary settlement to cater the needs of trekkers all the way to Annapurna base camp.
Day 07: Trek to Himalaya Hotel 2,840m - 08 hrs.
Morning downhill walk to a river, crossing a short bridge with the climb to reach at Sinuwa 2,360 m high, a lonely spot with few shops and lodges, walk from here leads into the cool forested area of oaks-rhododendron and pines trees and then a short steep descend to Bamboo.
A small settlement with the number of lodges surrounded within bamboo groves by the Modi River and into a gorge. After Bamboo, an hour or more of slow climb brings you at Dovan, and then our day journey ends on reaching Himalaya Hotel located beneath Hiunchuli peak and large overhanging Hinko Cave.
Day 08: Trek to Annapurna Base Camp 4,130m - 08 hrs.
After a nice overnight at Himalaya Hotel with a sound of raging Modi River, morning leads to the higher trail, starting on crossing ablation of old avalanches of the rocky moraine, then a short climb brings you at Deurali. From Deurali heading high on leaving tree lines behind following raging glacial Modi River all the way to Machhapuchhre base camp 3,700 m high, located beneath towering North Face of the Fish Tail Mountain, adventure carries on towards famous picturesque Annapurna Sanctuary and Annapurna BC.
MBC starting point of the sanctuary, where walk leads higher area for few hours and then entering into sanctuary enclosed by the amphitheater of peaks that surrounds this amazing place. After a few hours of pleasant walk brings you to the highest spot of the adventure at Annapurna base camp above 4,130 meters.
Afternoon enjoys and relaxes overlooking Annapurna I (8,091m / 26,545ft) Annapurna South (7,219m-23,693ft), Gangapurna (7,455m-24,457ft) and Annapurna III (7,555m-24,787ft), including to Mt. Machhapuchhre (Fish-tail) at 6,790 m stretches up towards Tent Peak / Tharpuchuli and Fluted Peaks or Singuchuli.
Day 09: Trek back to Bamboo 2,310 m - 08 hrs.
We will savor sunrise view over Annapurna Himalaya early morning after most memorable and enjoyable time at base camp within Annapurna Sanctuary retrace the journey on the downhill back into tree lines with few short ups to reach at Bamboo.
Day 10: Trek to Jhinu Danda (hot-spring) 1,780m - 06 hrs.
From Bamboo on leaving Modi River gorge climb leads up to Khuldighar into the forested area, and then a short gradual walk to Sinuwa danda, from here descend to Chhomrong Khola, climb on steps to Chhomrong for lunch stop. After Chhomrong where our route diverts to reach at Pokhara, a short downhill walk brings you at scenic and lovely Jhinu village for the overnight stop, located on a ridge top with views of surrounding landscapes and rolling green hills. A short descend of 25 minutes reaches you at hot-spring by the Modi River.
Day 11: Trek to road head and drive to Pokhara - 06 hrs.
With enjoyable and refreshing time at Jhinu with natural hot spring leaving the high hills for warmer areas, changing our new direction from here onward on an alternative route to reach Pokhara, a short downhill walk brings a another Nayapul (New Bridge), from here back to a small village at Siwai for the drive back to Pokhara after completing a wonderful and fabulous time up in the high mountains.
Day 12: Drive or fly back to Kathmandu.
Morning a scenic drive to back Kathmandu with grand memories of this fantastic and exciting time on Annapurna Base Camp & Poon Hill trekking, an interesting six hour brings you back in Kathmandu with the afternoon free at leisure for shopping souvenirs.

Day 13: International departure homeward bound.
Your last day in amazing Nepal in the land of Himalayan wonders, after wonderful experience and fond memories of Poon Hill Panorama Trekking around great Annapurna Himalaya, our staff transfer you to the airport as per your time for the international flight for your final departure towards homeward bound.

Requirements for Annapurna area high altitude Treks:
Annapurna Himalaya region one of the most popular and listed as world Top Ten adventure destinations by several leading Travel Guide Books and magazines including Lonely Planet.
Annapurna region offers varied trekking routes from moderate, adventurous to challenging walks that involve high passes above 5,000 meters.
For moderate treks for few days to a week where all trekkers should be physically fit and in sound health, as most of the longer treks takes from 5 hrs to 8 hrs of maximum walks.
Beginners and all interested people can join in Annapurna area trekking for few days or more, truly suitable for family-school / college groups as well to corporate executives, where on this trip requires minimum gear staying overnights in local nice lodges.
Most of the region in Himalayan where walks leads ups and downhills with some gradual portions depending upon your choice of trips and interest. For adventurous walks involves high altitude walks from above 2,500 to 5,000 meters high, with some gradual trails with ups and downhill with the touch of high altitude that makes it's more adventurous.
Challenging and demanding treks which leads you away from main villages in the pure wilderness on the off beaten tracks for some days in complete isolation in the harmony of giant mountains and in the tranquil environment and crossing high passes of above 5,000 m. Passport & Visa Information:
Nepal visa is the easiest visa to obtain; you may buy your Nepal visa at your nearest Nepalese Embassy/ Consulate or Mission offices abroad or buy this upon on arrival to Kathmandu international airport as per your convenient. You have to have 2 passport size photographs, Visa fees in US$ & valid passport at least for 6 months valid at the starting of the trip.
Visa rules apply to all wide world travelers apart from Indian nationality, the transit visa is provided for foreign nationality for 3 days. Visa must be obtained for staying over the initial period of three days. Currently, foreign national can obtain a Nepalese visa from the following border.

On each trip, led by Trek / Group Leader with assistance leader or head guide / Sirdar all our arrangement well planned for safe travel providing insurance to all our field staff and guides including porters.
There is no way to prepare for altitude other than to spend time at altitude with acclimatization days. Being in very good physical condition will help ameliorate some of the exhaustion that people often feel, but it will not prevent altitude caused medical problems such as Acute Mountain Sickness.
Our itinerary designed with a high degree of awareness on AMS (Acute Mountain Sickness) in mind and to ensure a comfortable and safe adventure trek in the Himalayas. Staying well and hydrated and rest will help a lot.
The maximum elevation on the trek at ABC 4,130m above sea level. Obviously, this altitude range is high, but this takes slowly as walk starts from 820m to various altitude range with enough days of good daily walks to get acclimatize on the route before reaching higher ground.
The other trek that involves high altitude is around or Annapurna Circuit which takes you to the highest point at 5,416 on top Thorong-la pass with downhill towards 3,800 m at Muktinath, but on this trips walks gaining heights slowly and gradually with enough time to get acclimatize with the rest day before heading higher level.
Travel Insurance & Vaccination
All visitors must obtain personal travel insurance to join us for our Himalayan trips. You must be having a travel insurance which must cover helicopter evacuation, trip cancellation and medical expenses. And it is suggested that you buy your insurance policy from your homeland country before traveling as it is difficult buying local travel insurance policy for foreigners in Nepal.
Vaccination is required to plan for your trip to Nepal but it is not a must to have a thing to come, but highly suggested. Your doctor will have the information on vaccination you would require to the country you will be traveling.
Hepatitis A, Japanese Encephalitis, Polio, Rabies, Tetanus, Typhoid, and Malaria etc. are the recommended vaccination for traveling to Nepal.
Meals and Accommodations
While in Kathmandu and in Pokhara, your accommodation is at the 3-star deluxe hotel that comforts your stays in the city and while in the trek, your accommodation is at Mt. Lodge and Guest House which is clean and comfortable. Our entire accommodation is at twin share unless stated but single supplement accommodation is also available on personal request at the additional cost of US$- 200.
In the city, only breakfast is included on the offered trip itinerary but while in trek full board of meals is included (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner, and Tea- Coffee).
We provide meals from local tea- house/ Lodge on route treks, breakfast and dinner are to be provided from the same tea- house/ guest house we would overnight but lunch would be on the walk to our designated destination with the overnight stop.
Foods provided depend on the availability of lodges and season-wise in general providing you with Nepalese foods (Dal Bhat), Tibetan fried bread, various soups, Momo’s (steamed dumplings), potatoes, pasta and even a version of pizza! So, overall you have a different choice of food on the trek.
Best trekking Seasons:
Nepal has two best seasons for Annapurna Base Camp and Annapurna Circuit Trekking, we will inform and suggest you choose the right time of the year as far as possible to enjoy this trip with best weather condition.
Spring: - (March, April, May) - Best warmest time to trek. Rhododendron flowers in bloom- excellent trails and clear skies, best visibility. Good Temperature, the warmest weather of the year.
Autumn: (Mid-September, October, and November) - Excellent trails, clear blue skies, best visibility. Best Time to Trek
Winter Months: - (December, January, and February) are also good, but it’s obviously colder. You have to be prepared for this. It is up to you to plan this trek at this cold time or not.
Summer: Monsoon, so rain and visibility can be a big issue (from Mid-June, July, and August). We do not suggest you this time for the trek unless you are botanical student or lovers of green and flowers which will be the right time but very wet especially around southern Annapurna areas than northern side.
Support staff (porter)
Our porter is fully equipped and insured for each trip they are undertaking with us. As you know that we are very sincere with the porter issues and their situation while on trek thus we make sure that our porter is fully prepared for the trip. We are closely working with the International Porter Progress Association for the welfare and befit for the touristic porters. The maximum load carried by our porter is 20 to 25 KG maximum so be sure that your trekking bag so not load more than 12 KG.

The following are what we advise you obtain in the way of equipment and gear before trekking in Nepal, and are meant to keep you mobile and comfortable in a range of expected weather conditions. Trekking gear can be rented or purchased in Kathmandu and Pokhara at cheaper prices, there is plenty of choices and our staff can assist you with the necessary arrangements. Except for your daypack, all luggage will be carried by porters. There is an allowance of 33lbs/15kg per person. Additional personal items not needed for the trekking portion of the trip can be checked in the hotel’s storage room for no extra cost.
