Awesome Adventure Mardi Himal Panorama Trekking starts from Kathmandu with interesting tour and then with exciting drive to scenic Pokhara where this trip begins and ends, walk leads you on alpine hills within traditional Gurung farm villages and then into complete wilderness away from main busy walking trail to enter into new and virgin areas towards high ridges of Mardi Himal with fantastic views of Annapurna-Manaslu and Dhaulagiri mountains and heading beneath majestic Mt. Machhapuchhre where Mardi Himal located.
Mardi Himal also known as ‘Other Sanctuary’ where earlier explorer named this area in early 1960’s the route is seldom trekked by other trekkers, where you will find serenity on this wonderful Mardi Himal Panorama trekking. Finally our adventure concludes with a walk downhill to lower warmer area and then a short drive brings you at beautiful Pokhara by the serene Phewa Lake side, after a great and remarkable adventure on Mardi Himal Panorama Trekking.
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel
Day 02: Drive to Pokhara 820m (220 k.m) - 08 hrs.
Day 03: Drive to Kande (trek point) and trek to Pothana 1,900m - 04 hrs.
Day 04: Trek to Kokar Forest camp 2,520 m via Pitam Deurali 2,100 m - 05 hrs.
Day 05: Trek to Low Camp 2,970 m - 05 hrs.
Day 06: Trek to High Camp 3,700 m - 05 hrs.
Day 07: Free day at High Camp for hike up to Mardi Himal base camp at 4,500 m.
Day 08: Trek to Siding village 1,750 m - 06 hrs.
Day 09: Trek to Mardi pul and drive back to Pokhara with free afternoon.
Day 10: Drive back to Kathmandu and transfer to respective hotels.
Day 11: International departure for home ward bound.
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.
On reaching Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport, received by our staff and then transfer to your respective hotels in the heart of Kathmandu city, after getting refreshed our guide briefs with information regarding Mardi Himal Panorama Trekking, lodge on route with do and don’ts with evening group welcome dinner.
Day 02: Drive to Pokhara 820m - 08 hrs journey distance 220 k.m.
Morning travel by private coach or in tourist bus (depending upon the size of the group) with an exciting overland drive on main Kathmandu to Pokhara highway, leading through Himalayan foothills, on reaching at Pokhara transfer to respective hotels by the beautiful Phewa Lake with afternoon free for short walks. (Options by Air 30 minutes scenic flight to Pokhara).
Day 03: Drive to Kande 1,770 m and begin trek to Pothana village 1,900 m - 05 hrs.
Starting this wonderful and exciting Mardi Himal & Machhapuchhre Trekking with a short drive on the outskirt of Pokhara to reach at Kande, after getting organized a steep climb leading to farm areas of terrace field, offering great views of snow peaks and valley below entering a patch of cool forest with last climb to reach at the ridge top at Thulo Kharka or Australian Camp with fantastic views of Annapurna and Manaslu range of mountains.
From this lovely spot walk downhill into cool shade of forest to Pothana offering super panorama of Annapurna Himalaya and Manaslu range including majestic Mt. Machhapuchhre “Fish Tail” and small peak of Mardi Himal towards North West.
Day 04: Trek to Kokar Forest camp 2,520m via Pitam Deurali 2,100m - 05 hrs.
After a pleasant overnight stop at Pothana village with fantastic views, walk begins on the main trekking trail reaching at Pitam Deurali with super views of landscapes and snow-clad peaks. After Deurali heading north along the ridgeline into serene forested area with cool temperature with panorama of Annapurna I and South with Huinchuli to the east Annapurna IV -II and Lamjung Himal and then reaching our overnight stop in the middle of forest where few lodges are located for trekkers.
Day 05: Trek to Forest camp to Low Camp 2,970 m - 05 hrs.
From this forest area, walk leads higher on uphill path with steep climb to reach a pasture land for overnight stop on route Mardi base camp with fantastic views of surrounding landscapes and mountains at close range.
Day 06: Trek to High camp 3, 700 m - 05 hrs.
This wonderful area offering grand vista of beautiful landscapes and snow-clad peaks in perfect tranquility heading higher to reach at High Camp as the air gets thinner and cooler with steep climb to reach at High Camp where tree lines fades to short rhododendron and juniper bushes. Here at High Camp with a lonely lodge for overnight accommodation with basic facilities commanding super views of Annapurna Himalaya.
Day 07: Explore beyond High Camp to Mardi West Base Camp 4,500m.
Here with another night stop to explore beyond High Camp with day hike to Mardi Himal higher ridge reaching the highest point of this trek at 4,500 meters. Walk leads to a steep climb along a ridge line to reach a hidden plateau at the base of Mardi Himal South Face with towering Mt. Machhapuchhre; this area known as 'Other Sanctuary' named by early pioneer Jimmy Roberts, when he first explored this area in early 1970's. After enjoying the views of super mountain panorama return back on same route to our overnight stop.
Day 08: Trek to Siding village 1,750m | 5,740ft - 06 hrs.
After a fabulous time on the high ridges of Mardi Himal with beautiful views and back into forest of rhododendron and pines trees, retracing the journey back on same trail at Jungle Camp and beyond with more downhill walk to reach at Sidang village located between the junction to another East and West route to Mardi Himal on warmer area for overnight stop before ending this lovely trek next day.
Day 09: From walk to Mardi Pul and drive back to Pokhara - 05 hrs.
Our last day walk of this fabulous adventure on the hidden trails of Annapurna region walk follows Mardi River on the wide valley reaching warmer areas of rice / paddy farm villages and finally walk ends at Mardi village for a short drive back to Pokhara for overnight stop by the serene Phewa Lake.
Day 10: Drive or fly back to Kathmandu.
Morning a scenic drive to back Kathmandu with grand memories of this fantastic and exciting Mardi Himal Panorama trekking, an interesting six hour brings you back in Kathmandu with afternoon free at leisure for shopping souvenirs.

Day 11: International departure homeward bound.
Your last day in amazing Nepal in the land of Himalayan wonders, after wonderful experience and fond memories of Mardi Himal Panorama Trekking around great Annapurna Himalaya, our staff transfer you to airport as per your time for international flight for your final departure towards homeward bound.

Requirement for Annapurna area high altitude Treks:
Annapurna Himalaya region one of the most popular and listed as world Top Ten adventure destinations by several leading Travel Guide Books and magazines including Lonely Planet.
Annapurna region offers varied trekking routes from moderate, adventurous to challenging walks that involves high passes above 5,000 meters.
For moderate treks for few days to a week where all trekkers should be physically fit and in sound health, as most of the longer treks takes from 5 hrs to 8 hrs of maximum walks.
Beginners and all interested people can join in Annapurna area trekking for few days or more, truly suitable for family-school / collage groups as well to corporate executives, where on this trip requires minimum gear staying overnights in local nice lodges.
Most of the region in Himalayan where walks leads ups and downhills with some gradual portions depending upon your choice of trips and interest.
For Adventurous walks involves high altitude walks from above 2,500 to 5,000 meters high,
with some gradual trails with ups and downhill with touch of high altitude that makes its more adventurous.
Challenging and demanding treks which leads you away from main villages in pure wilderness on the off beaten tracks for some days in complete isolation in the harmony of giant mountains and in tranquil environment and crossing high passes of above 5,000 m.
Where trekkers should be fit with sound medical background and with experience on outdoor activities and some exercise to join in Adventurous and Challenging treks within high Annapurna Himalaya or around remote destinations around Nepal Himalaya.
Passport & Visa Information:
Nepal visa is the easiest visa to obtain; you may buy your Nepal visa at your nearest Nepalese Embassy/ Consulate or Mission offices abroad or buy this upon on arrival to Kathmandu international airport as per your convenient. You have to have 2 passport size photographs, Visa fees in US$ & valid passport at least for 6 months valid at the starting of the trip.
Visa rules applies to all wide world travelers apart from Indian nationality, transit visa is provided for foreign nationality for 3 days. Visa must be obtained for staying over the initial period of three days. Currently, foreign national can obtain Nepalese visa from the following border.

On each trip, led by Trek / Group Leader with assistance leader or head guide / Sirdar all our arrangement well planned for safe travel providing insurance to all our field staff and guides including porters.
There is no way to prepare for altitude other than to spend time at altitude with acclimatization days. Being in very good physical condition will help ameliorate some of the exhaustion that people often feel, but it will not prevent altitude caused medical problems such as Acute Mountain Sickness.
Our itinerary designed with high degree of awareness on AMS (Acute Mountain Sickness) in mind and to ensure a comfortable and safe adventure trek in the Himalayas. Staying well and hydrated and rest will help a lot.
The maximum elevation on trek at ABC 4,130m above sea level. Obviously this altitude range is high, but this takes slowly as walk starts from 820m to various altitude range with enough days of good daily walks to get acclimatize on route before reaching higher ground.
The other trek that involves high altitude is around or Annapurna Circuit which takes you to the highest point at 5,416 on top Thorong-la pass with downhill towards 3,800 m at Muktinath, but on this trips walks gaining heights slowly and gradually with enough time to get acclimatize with rest day before heading higher level.
Travel Insurance & Vaccination:
All visitors must obtain personal travel insurance to join us for our Himalayan trips. You must be having a travel insurance which must cover helicopter evacuation, trip cancellation and medical expenses. And it is suggested that you buy your insurance policy from you homeland country before traveling as it is difficult buying local travel insurance policy for foreigners in Nepal.
Vaccination is required to plan to your trip to Nepal but it is not a must to have thing to come, but highly suggested. Your doctor will have the information of vaccination you would require to the country you will be traveling.
Hepatitis A, Japanese Encephalitis, Polio, Rabies, Tetanus, Typhoid and Malaria etc. are the recommended vaccination for traveling to Nepal.
Meals and Accommodations:
While in Kathmandu and in Pokhara, your accommodation is at 3 star deluxe hotel that comfort your stays in city and while in trek, your accommodation is at Mt. Lodge and Guest House which is clean and comfortable. Our entire accommodation is at twin share unless stated but single supplement accommodation is also available on personal request at the additional cost of US$- 200.
In city, only breakfast is included on the offered trip itinerary but while in trek full board of meals is included (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner, and Tea- Coffee).
We provide meals from local tea- house/ Lodge on route treks, breakfast and dinner is to be provided from the same tea- house/ guest house we would overnight but lunch would be on walk to our designated destination with overnight stop.
Foods provided are depends on the availability of lodges and season wise in general providing you with Nepalese foods (Dal Bhat), Tibetan fried bread, various soups, Momo’s (steamed dumplings), potatoes, pastas and even a version of pizza! So, over all you have a different choice of food on trek.
Best trekking Seasons:
Nepal have two best seasons for Annapurna Base Camp and Annapurna Circuit Trekking, we will inform and suggest you to choose the right time of the year as far as possible to enjoy this trip with best weather condition.
Spring: - (March, April, May) - Best warmest time to trek. Rhododendron flowers in bloom- excellent trails and clear skies, best visibility. Good Temperature, warmest weather of the year.
Autumn: (Mid-September, October and November) - Excellent trails, clear blue skies, best visibility. Best Time to Trek
Winter Months: - (December, January and February) are also good, but it’s obviously colder. You have to be prepared for this. It is up to you to plan this trek at this cold time or not.
Summer: Monsoon, so rain and visibility can be a big issue (from Mid-June, July and August). We do not suggest you this time for the trek unless you are botanical student or lovers of green and flowers which will be the right time but very wet specially around southern Annapurna areas than northern side.
Support staff (porter):
Our porter are fully equipped and insured for each trip they are undertaking with us. As you know that we are very sincere with the porter issues and their situation while on trek thus we make sure that our porter are fully prepared for the trip. We are closely working with International Porter Progress Association for the welfare and befit for the touristic porters. The maximum load carried by our porter is 20 to 25 KG maximum so be sure that your trekking bag so not load more than 12 KG.

he following are what we advise you obtain in the way of equipment and gear before trekking in Nepal, and are meant to keep you mobile and comfortable in a range of expected weather conditions. Trekking gear can be rented or purchased in Kathmandu or Pokhara at cheaper prices, there is plenty of choice and our staff can assist you with the necessary arrangements. Except for your day pack, all luggage will be carried by porters. There is an allowance of 33 lbs/15 kg per person. Additional personal items not needed for the trekking portion of the trip can be checked in the hotel’s storage room for no extra cost.
