There are several options to reach Everest base camp, the shortest and swiftest way is taking a flight to and from Kathmandu to Lukla, the other options are walking from old and original classic trail from Jiri to Everest. If you have time and interested on least trekking trail the other side of Everest from the eastern areas starting from Tumlingtar around Arun valley, the other choices is taking a hard and challenging walk and climb from beautiful Rolwaling valley where a high Tashi-Labtsa pass of above 5,755 m high to enter around Khumbu to Everest base camp.
