The journey starts after taking a scenic short flight to Lukla, as the trail leads around nice and lovely Sherpa farm village following the raging Dudh Koshi river right up to its source at Everest base camp. The walk leads you into an enchanting alpine forest with constant views of snowcapped peaks and then reaching the famed colorful town village at Namche Bazaar, where exciting Saturday market takes place every week on Saturday.
Namche at 3,440 m with the rest day for acclimatization a must before heading highest elevation, from Namche passing through Thyangboche-Pangboche and Dingboche around beautiful Imjatse valley with magnificent views of mountains with Island and Amadablam peaks.The walk continues heading higher reaching at Lobuche and then to Gorakshep with a visit of tall and large glass pyramid where the Italian and Nepalese scientist works in this metrological station recording weather and glacier of the Himalayan areas.
Everest Base Camp trekking takes you further offering views of high snowcapped peaks with majestic Amadablam and then reaching our goal and destination which is the highlight of the adventure reaching Everest Base Camp. There are several options to reach Everest base camp, the shortest and swiftest way is taking a flight to and from Kathmandu to Lukla, the other options are walking from old and original classic trail from Jiri to Everest. If you have time and interested on least trekking trail the other side of Everest from the eastern areas starting from Tumlingtar around Arun valley, the other choices is taking a hard and challenging walk and climb from beautiful Rolwaling valley where a high Tashi-Labtsa pass of above 5,755 m high to enter around Khumbu to Everest base camp.
Everest Base Camp Trekking is in Sagarmatha National park listed as world heritage sites in 1979, Sagarmatha a Nepalese name for Everest, where Sherpa and in the Tibetan language is known as Chomolungma, both languages means ‘Great Mother’.

Everest Base Camp Trekking can be traveled all year round except the wet months from mid-June to mid-September, the best time is April to May and end of September to December months.

March to April lovely to walk with wildflowers in full bloom like rhododendron-magnolia-Gentian Violets, Mycopnosis (wild blue Himalayan Poppies) with other beautiful flowers.
